Details:

I used this starter for about a week. Hopefully this is a match for your boat. Although it looks different than the oem, bolts up perfectly. This newer of starter is lighter, smaller, and easier to install.

Turns out that it was not a starter issue and another electrical problem. It fit my Mercuries 305 engine. I bought it because thought my old starter was bad. See photos for applications.

It started my boat about 6 times while was in driveway. It works great. It does not come with new bolts, so save your old bolts.

This starter fits many boats, more than I can list. My loss is your gain. I put the old starter back in and tried to return this new. This comes in the original box with packaging, bubble wrap and factory testing documentation included.

Its basically a small block Chevy engine. If you're not for sure it fits your boat, do a little internet research, or call Marine parts dealer and tell them you want Sierra starter boat get the part number.
